Nasdaq Marketsite Concept — April 2, 1993 — Presentation to the
Marketing Committee of The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc.

Marketing Committee

The marketsite grew out of a simple project to create something visual in the lobby area of Nasdaq Marketing Group NYC. A rudimentary presentation using a two-by-two videowall introduced to Nasdaq senior management by Thomas Apple in March 1992.

As the project evolved from an office space design poject to a marketing & branding strategy, the Nasdaq Marketsite "concept" was envisioned as a street-level location in Manhattan.

With unanimous approval of the Marketing Committee the concept proceeded.
